About The Center

Brandy's Bunch Early Learning Center is a family owned business, independently owned and operated by Agustin and Brandy Cruz. Our goal at Brandy's Bunch is to encourage creativity, learning and independence in all the children we care for. We offer quality child care with Christian values.

As the owner and director, Brandy Cruz has had the pleasure of having her own state-licensed, in-home, daycare for the past 6 years. Growing up in a large family, loving children came naturally to her. She babysat through much of her high school years and always wanted a large family of her own. However, the world of business was much too appealing to stay away. Brandy worked as a manager in banking for 5 years before deciding to stay home with her growing family. Brandy and Agustin have 6 young children and have lived in Lincoln, Nebraska since 2006. Brandy found her true passion in life - working with young children. Brandy and Agustin opened their first center inside Christ's Place Church in April of 2012 with many of the families from Brandy's in home daycare. There is nothing more rewarding to Brandy and Agustin than welcoming a new child into the daycare "family" and watching them learn and grow into their own little person!

At Brandy's Bunch we pride ourselves on giving individual attention to each child and keeping our teacher to student ratios low. All of our teachers are hand-picked by Agustin and Brandy and go through a complete background check before hiring. Our head teachers for each room are required to have an Early Childhood Education degree or the equivalent of 3 years experience in a head teacher setting. All assistant teachers are required to be studying in Early Childhood Education or have 1 year of experience working with children.

Safety is a top concern at Brandy's Bunch. Though we are located inside several churches there is no access to the childcare classrooms without entering the church through a secure outside door OR without entering the childcare class rooms without a key (when a secure outside door isn't available). After entering the building through the entrance or with an access code there is a check point where parents can collect their child's projects and notes.
